Vancouver

Whilst waiting for our Motorhome deal to go through we had 11 glorious days in Vancouver city. The weather was perfect, warm and dry (sometimes a little on the windy side) and having plenty of time on our hands we explored the beautiful city mostly on foot, we walked a lot! We spent a lot of time walking the sea wall, 28 km of sea wall with stunning views of the city, mountains and the sea.

We visited many of Vancouver’s parks, Stanley Park being a favourite (with Stanley Park Brewery at one end…), but also enjoyed the Queen Elizabeth Gardens, conservatory and rose gardens, and a random owl just sitting in a tree right next to the path we were on. Granville Island was an amazing experience of sights, smells and tastes so we had to visit twice! We celebrated Warwick’s birthday whilst in Vancouver with some treats and went on a tour up to Grouse Mountain.
